Pros & Cons
Pros:
- Cloth armor means more penetration, more attack and more Crit dmg. Greatly increasing crit based heals and overall class dmg.
- Very good support due to consistent heals and debuffs for bosses to boost the whole team's dmg.
- Able to solo if dgn is mastered due to magnetic style fast cast skills coupled with healing for ease of gameplay.
- Good for group PVP due to having constant heals, in some cases it can make tanky allies almost immortal and if that wasn't enough, it has some awesome sleeps and huge AOE based spamable tornado to allow for assist points whilst supporting the team.

Cons:
- Using cloth armor means that you are so squishy so you have to keep running and dodging attacks.
- At low levels you will find it difficult to speed level up alone due to the fact that you won't be geared out yet, though it is easier to level up faster on a piper than a slayer due to healing skills.

Stat Points
As for stat points, flute users tend to go full on Attack and the remaining points in Crit. The opposite is also good if you want more Crit and less Attack. You have free resets so you can play around with it. Though Attack is very important for healers as their healing skills depend on it, so you might want to stack up on as much attack as possible.

Skills + Add-Ons
In this section I will be explaining all of the skills and what add-ons to get. First I will start with the basic skills that you start with when you create a new character.
Single Strike
This is your first basic skill and it does 125% damage. pressing this twice will lead to Heavy Strike.

Heavy Strike
Heavy Strike is your second basic skill which will be activated when you press Single Strike twice or keep holding the button for it, this skill does damage of 170%, not only that but also it reduces the ATK speed of the enemy and movement speed by 30% for 4 seconds.

======================================================== Mix Attack
This skill can be activated by holding the button down for Single Strike or pressing it 3 times. This skill does 205% damage, on top of that it gives 30% ATK buff that lasts for 6 seconds, also this skill will reset the cooldown of Magic Sound Restraint to 0.
Magic Sound Restraint
This skill creates a bubble around your character, making mobs that touch the bubble unable to move for 2 seconds, on top of that it does damage of 25% per hit as long as they are touching the bubble.
Energy Storage Thunder Sound
This is a single target skill, it does 534% damage and on top of that it reduces the defense of the enemy by 5% for 5 seconds. Since this skill is very useful and does really high damage we will be adding some skill points on the 3rd add-on which isElement Knowledge, as it gives you a passive buff of 10% Crit DMG, it also gives you 10% Crit rate extra for this skill only. we will be making this add-on 5-stars

This is a click based skill as it dashes you toward the enemy dealing 144% damage, it also costs 800 SP to use. this skill isn't so good tbh so we are not going to add any skill points here.

======================================================== Magic Sound Chain
This is the most used skill for pipers because of its low cooldown (3 seconds), as it shoots a bouncing ball that bounces from one enemy to another with a mx of 3 bounces. This skill does 252% damage and every time the ball bounces the damage is reduced by 10%. We will be adding some skill points on the second add-on for this skill which is Explosion Semitone, what this add-on does is that it gives you 4% attack buff that lasts for 4 seconds basically you can have permanent 5% attack buff with this skill, also it adds 30% Crit DMG extra to this skill only. we will be making this add-on 5-stars.

Dynamic Chant
This is your healing skill, it heals for 10% of your attack that is why it is important for pipers to stack up on attack and Crit damage to increase your healing ability. Since this is your healing skill we will be adding some skill points on the 3rd add-on which isWild Ornament which gives you an attack buff to help your healing of 15%. This healing skill requires you to keep holding down the button and as you do that it will consume SP. We will be making this add-on 5-stars.

Fierce Wind Barrier
This is a very useful AOE skill in dungeons and PVP, it summons a tornado that does 125% damage per hit. As this skill is very important you will want to reduce its cooldown so we will add 5-stars on the first add-on Muscular Endurance Specialization, this add-on reduces the cooldown of the skill by 40% which makes it almost spamable, also while the tornado is up, every single hit you make will you give you a buff that increases your damage output by 3%, it is stackable (10 times), so when you cast this skill, you get 30% increase damage output buff (if you hit 10 people/monsters) and it lasts for 5 seconds.
Though if you are ok with the long cooldown you can add 5-stars on Sharp Wind blade which will give you a passive of 10% Crit rate and 30% Crit DMG for this skill only.
Hypnosis Encore
This is a sleep skill it is very useful for PVP as you can sleep a group of people an debuff them for 5% more damage taken for 3 seconds ( can be stacked 3 times) so they will receive a total of 15% more damage. As long as you have the skill button held down the people/monsters will be sleeping and receiving 15% extra damage.
Note: you are free to change these add-ons to your linking and your play style.

How Do I Gear Up My Piper?
The main gear you should really be focused on is end game level 50 gear, purple being the most easy to obtain and a very good choice, as yellow gear doesn't greatly increase the defense you have for pve, and gives less damage for pvp. Although it might look hard to farm it actually isn't that difficult if you know how to farm gold. Yellow set is another option if you want more of a pure pve experience, though this is very costly and you will need to obtain it from yellow grade boxes that drop from lvl 41 + dgn Elite mobs and bosses.
Note: I mentioned before in my other guides how to obtain the purple gear, to craft a purple level 50 piece you are going to need to collect an emblem named "Hero Emblem" that drops in Hero Dungeons, these dungeons won't unlock for you until you reach level 50.
Dragon Jades
I will be listing below two Dragon Jades builds, one for PVP and the other is for PVE.

Hunting dragon. Iceberg Jade Dragon
Jade Level: Lv45.
Armor Part: Weapon.
Jade Description: 5% Human Damage, Tokens It has a chance to activate a skill that shoots an Iceball to the enemy.
Obtained From: Arena Merchant, for 10,800 Blue PVP.
Why This Jade?: Since you are a ranged class you can't use jades such as Outbreak Flash, as you need to stay far away from the enemies as you attack. Therefore, this Jade suits ranged classes in general.

Deceptive Colored Sky
Jade Level: Lv40
Armor Part: Helm.
Jade Description: Whenever you Crit there is a chance of healing yourself by 50% of your ATK.
Obtained From: Eagle Eye Prestige Merchant, 21,000 reputation.
Why This Jade?: This Jade is very useful as you attack in PVP since you won't have the time to hold down your healing skill.

Armor Part: Chest.
Jade Description: 5% Human damage reduction, when being attacked there is a chance to activate the Rebound Dizzy Effect, which stuns the enemy for 2 seconds.
Obtained From: Arena Merchant, 9600 Blue PVP Tokens.
Why This Jade?: Because it is always good to be able to stop enemies attacks, it will give you a chance to strike back.

Armor Part: Gloves.
Jade Description: 3% Damage to Elite Monsters (Mini bosses), it has a chance to summon a Tornado Whirlwind.

Why This Jade?: Summons Jades are very useful, as they do a lot of damage and help you keep the enemy unable to attack you.

Jade Description: Bonus Heal 25%, 3% more damage to Elite monsters.

Why This Jade?: Because as a cloth user it isn't so hard to cap or nearly cap your Crit damage. Thus, this jade will even out your Crit DMG and your Treatment % which both are needed to perfect your healing.

Why This Jade?: This is very useful as it basically gives you 30% extra damage since all of your attack are Thunder based attacks.

Jade Description: When you attack this jade has a chance to trigger an attack buff of 8% for the whole party members for 5 seconds.

Why This Jade?: As I said before you need as much attack as possible.

Aunu goulart's Dark Dragon
Jade Level: Lv50
Armor Part: Boots.
Jade Description: It has a chance to proc a reduce Thunder Resistance debuff onto enemies by 40%.
Obtained From: Guild Boss.
Why This Jade?: Because all your skills are Thunder damage based skills, so if this jade activat it means you will be doing an extra 40% damage to enemies.

Armor Part: Waist.
Jade Description: Bonus Heal 25%, 3% more damage to Elite monsters.

Why This Jade?: This jade is the best for PVE for pipers, as it does the highest damage due to the Thunder Damage it does. it isn't good to use for PVP because it is harder to land it on people.
Dragon Jade Stat
Dragon Jades have two types of stat, white and green, for the white stat you will be aiming for ATK, Crit, Penetration, HP, and DEF. As for the green stat you have to choose, do you want to be full support and not have as good damage at all? if yes then go for treatment %, as it will increase your healing overall even without crit heals. However, if you want to be good at both healing + damage then go for Crit DMG %, as Crit DMG % affects your healing when you Crit Heal. the Crit DMG is what the pro flute user from Thai recommended.
As for the second green stat, for PVP you will go for Human damage % + human damage reduction %, for PVE you can just use Crit damage or any species damage %.
Note: in the Dragon Jades I showed you, the piper couldn't afford to get full Crit DMG so she went for treatment %, but she said that the best to go for is Crit DMG not treatment as you can get your treatment from the waist Dragon Jade.
P.S. Penetration DOES NOT affect your healing, it is a stat for damage only.
Sub-Costumes
For the Sub-Costume you are going to use as a main body part, either Tornado Whirlwind which can be obtained from Drake Runaway dungeon, though it won't be available at the start of the game. Or you can go for Meteorite body part, which can be bought from the battlefield Merchant for 58,000 Pink PVP Tokens.

Apparel. Evolution Ranger
As for the head part you can use any that you like I will give you 2 examples, Headdress: Explosion Fighter This head part gives you 6% Crit DMG, and its effect is when you are getting hit there is a chance to stun the enemy for 2 seconds. it is a useful skill to have for PVP. it can be obtained from Lv31-40 Hunter Club from the dungeon Cruel Prison, the boss name is Locke chief (Cow Boss).
The second option is Headdress. Star Angel This can be obtained from Star Field dungeons which is located with the Fam dungeons. What this head part does is when you attack there is a chance for a spell to activate which summons a hard spike that comes from underground and strikes, it makes the target fly. this is the best head part to use at the moment as it does around 400%-500% damage when it activates.

Accessories
For accessories you can have two sets for PVE and PVP, you can obtain PVE accessories from drop there are really some good ones that I use on my character and is known to all people.

Dragon Chart Board
As you can imagine, dragon chart is a huge part of the overall way you choose to build your piper. One of the best ways to build it on piper is the following:

Stat: Crit: +119, Crit DMG: 2%, Crit DMG Reduction: 3%
Max number you can use: 5
why this attribute stone: It's perfect for piper due to the fact that it increases your crit greatly (for crit heals) whilst at the same time giving you crit dmg (to increase the amount you heal for when you crit heal). On top of that it gives you crit dmg reduction to allow you to have more survivability which aids in your ability to support your party and stay alive.
How to obtain: From Sun Swift Dragon hawk (sub-species for dragonhawk, it can be obtained from breeding normal dragon hawk which is obtained from Open Field/Hunter Club Echo Valley map
